I really liked those white laptops, and I think they even looked better than the newer aluminum unibody. If you really think about it, we don’t really need those newer faster specs for much of what we do unless we play games on our mac. I have the 15inch macbook pro (not the retina display), bought 2nd hand, and the price is comparable to a high-end windows laptop, but I still chose apple. I had no regrets whatsoever. Everything is great! Once you go mac, you can’t go back
