I really can't answer your question as it might not even be the phone that is the problem. Best bring it to Sun Cellular for them to check out the phone as well.

First things first, what's VerdanaCrossover? Second, it's always good to use the latest software, be it a computer or a mobile phone, the latest software helps because it usually is much faster. In your case, it will only matter if you really are using a lot of mobile apps on your phone. But if you are using it for basic things like calling people and text messaging, then having an old Android platform won't mean anything much. The challenge is this... if you are using mobile apps like Facebook, there may come a time that it won't be upgraded to the latest version and it won't run on old Android platforms. In that case, you will have to stick with whatever version that you have on your phone. Generally speaking, I hate Gingerbread platform. Ice Cream Sandwich is way better and the latest one called Jellybean indeed rocks faster and better.

Hi TitaniumRunner! Thanks a lot for your review. It has been really helpful! Other reviews don't really provide as much information like you do. I am considering buying Cloudfone Excite 350G with a Globe Plan. However, the phone that comes with the plan seems to be a downgraded version. It has only Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). All the other specs remain pretty much the same. I would like to ask, how does having an Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) on this phone differ with is having an Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) instead? Will it still perform the way you have described it in this review? Thanks a lot! :-)

P.S. Here's a link to the Cloudfone website FYR.
