Hi RunPhilippines! I am sorry for not being able to get back to you on your comment so quickly. There's no one smartphone that really stands out from the pack because it really all depends on several factors. One, what is your budget? If you can afford the top of the line ones, go for either an iPhone, a Samsung S3 or the Windows Mobile 7.5 phones that are out right now. I know many Blackberry fans out there would hate me for not mentioning them here, but BB phones are more work than fun. It's not a good phone for mobile blogging. It just has a lot of limitations. Second to the budget, what is your lifestyle? On the go? Always on meetings? Love taking pictures? Music? It all depends on what would be more useful to you. Third thing to consider is, how often do you spend yourself online using a smartphone? I am virtually online when I am awake, I have push notifications. Alas, it seems that I forgot to turn ON my blog notifications when it upgraded itself. Hence, I only replied to this just now. Hope this helps.

Hi, I'm planning to get a smartphone to be able to do blogging and social media on it. Which would you recommend?

Regarding the purpose of blogging, my two centavos worth.

Keep a blog or an applicable social media account where you can collect all your valuable work. Let it be your hub which people can revisit, link to, build on, comment. It will be your asset that keeps on giving. Most social media accounts will scroll even your most engaging post into lower visibility.
