- The happiest running event for me was the 34th Milo Marathon. Because this is the event where i encouraged all my friends to run. I always want them to join me in my running and help them to get fit and healthy. I am also the one who bought Milo packs just for them to join. All of them ran their first 5km and some of my running buddies ran their first 21k.

My happiest running event is not just a simple run held last January 22, 2012. It is a record of 209,000 registered running enthusiasts which I became a part of, The 2012 Kahit Isang Araw Lang : Unity Run which started and ended at the SM Mall of Asia grounds. I registered the 5k category and finished it with a burning enthusiasm. But the next part is the commemorative run which entitles every runners who registered to run another 5k. Actually, my body feels a bit odd since I’m not trained to do another 5k during the event but I finished it! I remembered all my mistakes in life and of what I am now.

My Happiest Running event so far was when I finished my 1st 21k at Corrigedor Half Marathon I was able to meet the cut-offs every 5,10 & 15k. Of course with the help of my very supportive Husband. I remember saying this to him during the last 5k…. “Han,bigat na ng mga paa at legs ko pwede pakihila mo na ko,please?”. It was so hard for me, image how hard the route and road with downhill and uphill, but very proud that I was able to finished it injury free and a day after the event was a birthday party of our youngest daughter. Infairness may energy pa ko came all the way from Corrigedor and run the 21k

The Corregidor International Half Marathon is most Happiest Run for me as a beginner runner. It’s 21 tough km filled with steep uphill grades, incredible and historic scenery, and incredible treks. It was so hard for me to run under fabulous sunny weather. I wanted to push myself and run the 21 km distance.

My happiest running event would be Condura Skyway Marathon, my 3rd 21k, i was already injured at the kilometer 3 and since I can’t run anymore because of the injury, what I did is jog, cheer other runner, congratulate 42k runners and encouragements to first time runners. Crossing the finishline was the happiest experience.

My happiest running event would have to be the Tagaytay to Nasugbu 50K Ultramarathon last May 20. I was able to “make the jump” and finish my first ultramarathon strong and injury-free thanks to positive thinking, training, proper nutrition, and support from my friends and fellow runners.

I’d consider Subic International Marathon 2011 as my happiest, because it was my first out-of-town run together with my first ever running club, Team Yellow Jersey. We enjoyed the pre- and post-run activities we did as well touring Subic.

My happiest running event was the McDonald’s run last November 2010, it was our first run (with my girlfriend) and what makes it more special was it was for a cause, since then we’ve been hooked to running because not only because of health reasons, but also we gain so many friends. + My happiest run was the Green and White Run 2012. At that run I got to break my 5km record, from 50mins. down to 38mins. Also, I find the run so very well organized, has the most hydration area I have ever participated and the organizer, Sir Rovic, goes around and sees to it that all are well and having fun. For me Green and White Run 2012 is the happiest event, so far, that I have participated to.

- The happiest running event for me was the Condura 2011 Skyway Marathon 10K. Because You feel so free, and most of the time there’s no pressure to really do anything in particular. Or, if there is, you get a great sense of achievement once you’ve completed something. This may sound a little odd, but i also love that sensation when you’ve been running for ages, and you’re exhausted, and then right at the end of the race you put all of your effort into the last several hundred metres, and you can’t feel yours legs and they’re like jelly. I just feel UNSTOPPABLE.

I also find it really helps to calm me down as well, and it gives me time alone when i can just think and forget about everything else. You kind of get the opportunity just to take in what’s around you, look at nature.

And then you have the really happy feeling when you’ve finished, even if you ache all over, because you’ve achieved something, and you can just relax.

And of course it’s a great feeling just eating afterwards when you’re starving.
(I have this thing about being hungry; i love waiting until i’m hungry so that i get a really nice feeling from eating. weird, i know)

Happiest running event was the Corregidor Int’l Half Marathon 2010. It served both as a challenging grounds for running (due to its concrete uphills) and a scenic run as well, because of the wonderful sights offered by the course. Also, the CIHM 2010 was scheduled the same date as my birthday, and as a bonus, I was awarded for being part of the Top 10 finishers which served as one of the blessings and birthday gifts for me that day.

My happiest running event was the recently concluded Hyundai Run For A Cause because I was able to run with my wife and my 4-year old son, which I carried over my shoulder during the whole 5k route. It was hard carrying a 16-child son but it was indeed one memorable experience because he was able to finish his very first fun run.
