Binondo, RAMADA Manila and the upcoming Pacquiao Bradley event!

I rarely get email notifications on promos and seriously speaking, I do not like receiving email notifications on promos. So whenever I get an email, I would scan through it and then I wound hit the button “unsubscribe”. I would even inform or call up the people who emailed me to find out how they got my email address and ended up in their database. Still, there are promos that I actually browse and read because they tickle my fancy, such as this upcoming fight of the PACMAN. I’ve seen numerous promos splattered across the city and this one deserves some attention. Why?

One, having visited Binondo several times in my life — I can say that this definitely qualifies as the MOST luxurious hotel of its kind in the area. In Philippine history, Binondo became one of the financial hubs of Metro Manila. In fact, it remains as a favored destination for those seeking out true and authentic Chinese cuisine. And so, here’s RAMADA MANILA CENTRAL. It’s even located at the heart of Binondo where you just walk from the Binondo Church and even one of my favorite restaurants called Mezzanine Cafe!

Two, they are offering a package deal for those who are interested to watch the upcoming Pacquiao fight happening on June 10. Given the choice of hotels out there with similar offerings, I would say that though this hotel is new in the market, it has something different to offer because of its location. Of course, there’s no denying the horrendous traffic in this area of the city. But it makes you wonder, why is it that people still flock Divisoria with all the challenges of commuting, parking a car and the sea of people walking the streets? Well, it is because at the end of the day, the sure find bargains found at Divisoria is still worth the distance, the time spent and the savings. RAMADA HOTEL CENTRAL offers something to that effect. And I love hotels that can offer something similar. True, I love the hotel lobbies of the more luxurious hotels in Makati and Ortigas. But overall, the history of the place is relatively new. And most people there go home after work. Binondo comes alive in the morning, in the late afternoons and still is alive in the evenings because people come here to eat and have a great time with friends.

Here's the sample ticket

Given the chance, I hope that I can stay here at RAMADA MANILA CENTRAL one of these days, budget permitting. This is one of the things that I miss in one of my previous jobs where I get hotel vouchers as part of the compensation and benefits of doing a great job. Well, perhaps in time I can go and move around the hotels. But you know what I really look forward in staying in a hotel? It’s being able to sleep in absolute silence. The best hotels out there can offer this atmosphere of serenity. And based on what I have read so far of RAMADA MANILA CENTRAL, this is part of what they are marketing themselves to the business community.

So for those who are interested and would like to take an interesting weekend, rediscover Manila, rediscover Binondo. Enjoy the fight of Pacquiao and do let me know what you think of RAMADA HOTEL once you book yourself a stay there. Now where’s my friend Chong? I need to look for him and ask him to dine out at Binondo! This blog post is already getting my raving to visit the place and have a great meal around Ongpin!
